Bring your conventional battery-powered Casio watch back to life with our specialist UK postal service. Chrono Straps UK has worked in the watch trade since 2003. We fit suitable branded silver-oxide or lithium batteries and carry out basic function checks before returning your watch.

• Battery Replacement Only: £26.99 — replacement of one appropriate battery, fitting, basic function checks and Royal Mail Tracked 48 return postage.
• Battery Replacement + Clean & Refresh: £39.98 — all of the above plus exterior cleaning of suitable components (additional £12.99).

Watches needing two batteries: an additional £5.00 applies. We will contact you and obtain approval before any extra chargeable work. Watches requiring more than two batteries or specialist components are quoted individually. If you know your model or module number, please message us before ordering.

What's included

Water-resistance pressure testing is not included. A battery replacement or gasket inspection does not guarantee water resistance.

Optional Clean & Refresh — £12.99

Exterior cleaning of suitable stainless steel, resin and rubber watch components. Suitable removable stainless steel components may be cleaned ultrasonically; resin and rubber components are cleaned manually with appropriate methods. We remove accessible dirt, oils and grime from cases, straps and bracelet fittings.

Cleaning around external buttons may help if dirt is causing stiffness, but does not guarantee repair of a faulty or worn button. Leather straps are excluded from wet cleaning. We may decline cleaning of watches with decorative stones, glued embellishments, fragile fittings or damaged seals if cleaning could cause damage. This is not a movement overhaul.

How the postal service works

1. Purchase the Battery Replacement Only or Battery Replacement + Clean & Refresh option.
2. WAIT for our email confirming the watch-service postal address and sending instructions.
3. Post your watch securely packaged, including your name, order number and return address inside. You pay for and arrange the outward postage to us.
4. We assess the watch, replace the battery and carry out basic checks. We contact you first if additional batteries or other chargeable work are needed.
5. After completion and checks, we return your watch by Royal Mail Tracked 48 and provide tracking details.

Fast workshop turnaround

We aim to complete straightforward battery replacements within two working days after the watch reaches our workshop. This is a processing target, not a guaranteed delivery date. Watches needing investigation or additional testing may take longer. Postal transit time is extra.

Suitable models

Many conventional battery-powered Casio quartz models, including selected G-Shock, Baby-G, Edifice, Pro Trek, Wave Ceptor, digital and analogue watches. Suitability depends on the specific module and battery availability. Solar, Tough Solar, GPS Solar and specialist rechargeable models are excluded. If unsure, send us the watch model/module number before purchasing.

Return postage and valuable watches

Royal Mail Tracked 48 return postage is included in the service price at no additional charge.

Once your watch has been serviced, tested and securely packaged, we will arrange its return using Royal Mail Tracked 48. Tracking details will be provided following dispatch.

12-month battery replacement guarantee

If a covered battery or fitting fault arises within 12 months, contact us so we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy. The guarantee does not cover unrelated movement faults, accidental damage, water ingress, misuse or pre-existing defects. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
